Seeking Experienced Officials for the LA 2015 Games

Special Olympics welcomes applications for volunteer sport officials for the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles California, 24 July – 2 August 2015. The application deadline is July 1.

Seeking Experienced Officials

The 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles will feature competitions in 22 sports for 7,000 athletes around the world.  

Special Olympics will select officials who are already certified by the related sports federation and who have Special Olympics officiating experience. The certification may come from national or international sports federations.

The majority of the competition officials will be recruited, trained and selected from among people living near Los Angeles. A limited number of officials from outside that area may be chosen to travel with coverage for expenses associated with airfare, accommodations, ground transportation and meals.


Deadline is July 1

The application form must be received by no later than July 1 2014.
