Middle East - North Africa

 Special Olympics Middle East and North Africa is one of the Special Olympics’ global seven regions. Comprising 22 Arab states, along with Iran,  SOMENA has been exerting throughout the past ten years, the region managed to increase the scores of its athletes from 20 thousand in 2001 up to 150 thousand in 2010.
