Law Enforcement and Civilian Divisions will compete in this Motorcycle Skills competition which is conducted by members of the NJ Motorcycle Officers Training Association. Competition is $60/person. Registration for the 50 mile escorted motorcycle ride will begin at 8:00am at the Bergen County Harley-Davidson. The rides departs at 9:15 am and ends at the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, NJ where Motorcycle Skills Final Competition will be in progress. The Adrian Motorcycle Ride takes place July 9th. Starting in the parking lot of the Madison Township Police/Fire Station and ending at Sand Creek High School. The 11th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Ride takes place July 23 at 10:30 am at Planet Powersports in Coldwater, MI. Registration is $25 per rider or $35 with a passenger. Register by July 6 and save $5 off each. This includes a ride shirt and breakfast. First bike out at 11:00 am. Registration closes at 1 pm. For the second year in a row Special Olympics Michigan will be hosting our Southwest Regional Softball Tournament in Rockford at the Art Van Sports Complex. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday August 13th with competition beginning at 9:00 am. Volunteer Registration is currently open as we are looking to fill the following positions: Scorekeepers, Scoreboard Operators, Field Managers, Umpires, Catchers Assistance, Skills Contest and Medical. The third Special Olympics Ukraine Open Games will involved two days of competitions in nine sports including: Swimming, 5-a-side Football, Floorball, Table Tennis, Unified Basketball, Bocce, Kayaking, and Open Water Swimming. Delegations from across Ukraine as well as other European countries will compete in the Games taking place in the UNESCO Heritage city of Lviv, in central Ukraine.
The Games are co-organised by the public youth organisation NGO SAMI.

After the success of last year's tournament Special Olympics Michigan will again be hosting a Southwest Regional Flag Football Tournament in 2016. This now annual event will be held at Lamar Park in Wyoming on Friday September 16th. Competition will run from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm on two fields. At the Healthy Athletes event at the Fall Sports Classic, the following disciplines will be offered: Opening Eyes, Special Smiles, Healthy Hearing, and Health Promotions. These screenings will be offered free to all athletes who have a current physical on file at Special Olympics Kansas. Screening forms are sent to guardians if health issues are identified so a follow-up with their health care professional may be made. Each discipline has a Clinical Director who recruits volunteers to assist with the screening.

More than 1,200 athletes, coaches and chaperones from 46 counties take part in the State Poly Hockey & Unified Bowling Finals each year. Poly Hockey takes place at Eastern High School and Fieldhouse in Lansing on November 12-13. The Unified Bowling Finals take place on November 12 at Royal Scot Lanes.
The goal of this conference is to give a guide as to what the expectations are from Special Olympics New Jersey, the Area Director, and the Area Committees. Area committees are encouraged to attend to find out what is new and exciting and work together and develop the expectations and goals for the area programs.

Competition includes Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing and Snowboarding at Schuss Mountain at Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire; Speed Skating and Figure Skating at Howe Ice Arena in Traverse City; and Snowshoeing at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Acme.
