A huge crowd of fans are expected alongside executives and celebrities including:

WHEN

Pre-event starts at 2:30 PM KST, 12:30 AM Eastern U.S. Time,  5:30 AM GMT

The event will kick off at 3 PM KST and conclude by 3:45 PM KST.


WHAT

Commemorative event to celebrate the one-year countdown to the start of the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in PyeongChang.  On-site media will have the opportunity to photograph and interview key attendees.

 

WHERE

Seoul City Hall Square; Seoul, South Korea

WHY

Special Olympics, the global leader for people with intellectual disabilities, will hold their next Special Olympics World Winter Games in PyeongChang*, South Korea, in January 2013. (*Same location where the 2018 Winter Olympics will take place.)

This multi-sport event will take place from 29 January to 6 February 2013 featuring   nearly 3,300 athletes from 120 countries, competing in seven different Olympic-type sports. For more information on the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games, visit www.2013sopoc.org.
