European Table Tennis Tournament in Slovenia

110 athletes from 21 countries took part in the European Table Tennis Tournament held in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana.

The event took place from April 12th until April 16th and coincided with the 100th anniversary of the Janez Levac Special Education Center  in Ljubljana.

Patron of the Tournament was Slovenian President Mr. Danilo Turk and official sponsor was Parent`s Organization  Sozitie who have shown tremendous support for Special Olympics Slovenia for several years.

The Slovenian Table Tennis Federation supported the event by sending their International and National officials and empires.

Participants

Bojan Tokic,  European  Senior  Championships Bronze medalist and Jernej Damian one of the world’s best ski jumpers presented the winning athletes with their medals.

Countries represented were: Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia,  Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Italy, Kyrgyz Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Great Britain, FYR Macedonia, Monaco, Germany, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Slovenia.
