New partnership deal between Special Olympics, Coin Co International and Charleroi Airport

(l-r) Suzanne Huygelen, Special Olympics Brussels, Sabrina Joyce, Coin Co International and David Gering Head of PR & Communications, Charleroi Airport,

Coin Co International (CCI), the world’s experts in foreign money conversion, are delighted to announce a new partnership between Special Olympics, CCI and Charleroi Airport.

Charleroi is one of the fastest growing regional airports in Europe with more than six million passengers flying through the airport each year.

CCI is placing a number of globes throughout the airport where passengers can dispose of foreign currency they no longer need. The CCI Globes will help to raise funds for Special Olympics by collecting European and foreign coins and notes, which CCI will collect, count, sort and repatriate our their behalf.

According to David Gering, Head of Public Relations at Charleroi Airport: “In 2014 the Special Olympics European games will take place in Brussels which is important to Charleroi Airport.

The Games are a chance for Special Olympics athletes in Europe to show their true potential and for us in turn to be inspired by their courage and determination. CCI look forward to a continuing partnership with Charleroi Airport and Special Olympics International."
