Wet and Windy
In the pouring rain and strong winds more than 120 athletes took part in the VIII National Special Olympics Polish Kayaking and Cycling competition in the town of Augustów in north eastern Poland.
The competition took place from 31st May to 3rd June attended by the Mayor of the Augustowski Region, Mr. Franciszek Wisniewski as well as the Mayor of Augustów, Mr. Kazimierz Kożuchowskiego. 120 athletes from 8 regions across Poland took part involving 82 trainers and more than 60 volunteers.

Cyclilng Qualifier
The cycling meeting was a qualification round for the 2014 European Summer Games in Belgium.
Despite the wet and windy weather conditions the athletes enjoyed every minute of the weekend.
Family Forum
On June 2nd Special Olympics Poland organized a Family Forum conference with more than 25 family members attending to discuss the future of the Family Support Network as well the importance of the Healthy Athlete and Young Athlete Projects.
