Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that combines elements of ballet, gymnastics, dance, and apparatus manipulation. Individuals or teams of competitors (from 2 to 6 people) manipulate one or two pieces of apparatus: rope, clubs, hoop, ball, ribbon and Free (no apparatus, so called "floor routine").

Soy Ruben Alejandro y soy Campeón

Thanks to my studies I got a job in Public Services of the State of Nayarit in the area of computer education, I am currently an administrative assistant in the Multiple Care Center of Nayarit.View Story Soy Ruben y naci con Sindorme de Down tengo una hermana menor y vivio con mis padres. Asistí a rehabilitación al CREE a los 22 días de nacido, ahí me atendieron para que mi desarrollo fuera a igual al de todos los niños, También asistí al centro de desarrollo infantil desde los tres meses. curse prescolar, primaria y secundaria en escuelas regulares con personas sin discapacidad. Gracias a mis estudios obtuve un trabajo en Servicios de Educación Pública del Estado de Nayarit en el area de informática, actualmente soy auxiliar administrativo en el Centro de Atención Multiple de Nayarit. Desde niño practico deporte y me encanta la gimnasia artística, he participado en 8 eventos nacionales y 3 Juegos Mundiales y ahora tengo de nuevo la oportunidad de ir en nombre de México a los Angeles. Me gusta la danza folkorica los talleres de talleres de tejido de bufandas, elaboración de piñatas, coronas, moños para regalo y chaquira.

Equipo de Gimnasia Rítmica de Olimpiadas Especiales realiza una presentación en la Ceremonia de Apertura de 5 º Juegos Escolares CODICADER

Un equipo de gimnastas rítmicas de Olimpiadas Especiales Panamá tuvo la oportunidad de hacer una presentación durante la Ceremonia de Inauguración de los 5 ° Juegos Escolares CODICADER. Los Juegos Escolares CODICADER ofrecen la oportunidad a estudiantes de Centroamérica de representar a su países en competencias de varias disciplinas deportivas.View Story Un equipo de gimnastas rítmicas de Olimpiadas Especiales Panamá tuvo la oportunidad de hacer una presentación durante la Ceremonia de Inauguración de los 5 ° Juegos Escolares CODICADER. Los Juegos Escolares CODICADER ofrecen la oportunidad a estudiantes de Centroamérica de representar a su países en competencias de varias disciplinas deportivas. La presentación especial de las gimnastas ayudó a dar la bienvenida a sus atletas compañeros que participaban de los Juegos. El equipo de gimnasia rítmica conformado por Maricruz Tuñón, Nilka Vergara, Ayamahir Rodríguez Mendoza Fátima, Fátima Espinoza, Lisbeth Rivera y Paula Carmona, recibió un reconocimiento por su participación en la Ceremonia de Inauguración de los Juegos Escolares CODICADER, Los 5 º Juegos Escolares CODICADER se celebraron en Panamá del 15 al 31 de junio.

Los Juegos de verano de Special Olympics Sur de California 2014, se llevaron a cabo del 5 al 9 de Junio, en la Universidad del Sur de California.View Story Los Juegos de verano de Special Olympics Sur de California 2014, se llevaron a cabo del 5 al 9 de Junio, en la Universidad del Sur de California. Con la participación de 1200 atletas locales de 28 programas de SO Sur de California y 150 Atletas de 12 países de los programas internacionales entre ellos: SO Taipéi China, SO Costa Rica, SO Egipto, SO Gran Bretaña, SO Indonesia, SO Irak, SO Macau, SO México, SO Japón, SO Arabia Saudita, SO Emiratos Árabes Unidos, SO Hong Kong. 6 Deportes: Natación, Atletismo, Basquetbol, Bochas, Gimnasia y Golf.Olimpiadas Especiales México, Baja California, Represento a nuestro país en 2 deportes, Atletismo y Natación; con una delegación de 23 Atletas, 2 Entrenadores, 2 Asistentes de Entrenador, 2 Auxiliares, 1 Delegado y 1 Asistente de Delegado. México regreso con 11 de ORO, 18 de PLATA y 4 de BRONCE

Pennsylvania State Summer Games

The Special Olympics Pennsylvania Summer Games will be held at Penn State University in State College. The event will together over 2,000 athletes and 750 coaches from across the state. This is our largest event of the year. The Summer Games will feature three days of intense competition in aquatics, athletics, basketball, bowling, equestrian, golf, gymnastics, softball and tennis. Every race, every game, every competition held at Summer Games represents many weeks of training, preparation and dedication on the part of our athletes, coaches and volunteers. Spectators are welcome to visit any of the competition venues and cheer on the athletes.

Colorado State Summer Games

This years Summer Games will be held in Grand Junction at Colorado Mesa University. This event is the biggest Special Olympics Colorado competition of the year! The event brings together athletes from across the state to compete in five sports: athletics, aquatics, gymnastics, powerlifting and soccer.

Massachusetts State Summer Games

The official start of the Special Olympics Massachusetts Summer Games begins with the traditional Opening Ceremony at Boston University. Highlights include remarks from special guests, one of our athletes acting as master of ceremonies, the Parade of Athletes, the Special Olympics Massachusetts flag relay and presentation and finally the culminating Torch Lighting Ceremony, by the Guardians of the Flame–our partners in the LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNITY. Saturday morning the games will begin on the grounds of the Harvard University athletic facilities, surrounding historic Harvard Stadium. Over 1,900 ATHLETES compete in the sports of aquatics, gymnastics, powerlifting, tennis, track & field and volleyball.

Illinois State Summer Games

Summer Games is Special Olympics Illinois premiere sports competition with more than 4,000 athletes and Unified Partners competing in 6 different sports, along with 1,600 coaches, 2,500 volunteers and 3,300 family members. That totals more than 11,400 people who attend Summer Games! The Summer Games are held at Illinois State University in Normal and the Illinois Wesleyan University campus in Bloomington. A variety of activities are provided for the participants in addition to the sports competitions. Competition will be offered in athletics, aquatics, bocce, Unified bocce, gymnastics, football (soccer) and powerlifting. The public is invited and encouraged to attend any and all parts of Special Olympics Illinois Summer Games. Hope to see you there!

World Summer Games Los Angeles 2015

In July of 2015 more than 7,000 athletes from 170 countries will come to Los Angeles, California for the Special Olympics World Summer Games and enjoy 10 days full of joy, friendship and competition. Athletes will compete in 22 sports. The event expects to attract 500,000 spectators and 30,000 volunteers and 3,000 coaches.
