Luxembourg Hosts

Get ready to enjoy Euro Tennis 2013 – Special Olympics’ European Tennis Tournament taking place in Luxembourg from November 15th to 17th.

The Tournament will gather 82 athletes with intellectual disabilities from 19 countries. Over three days the athletes will compete in four different levels in singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

Euro Tennis 2013 will give tennis players with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to compete in high level competitions while also promoting inclusion and respect in our communities.

The Tournament is under the patronage of HRH Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg and HRH Prince Felix of Luxembourg and Princess Claire are expected to attend the Opening Ceremony taking place on Friday, November 15th.

Euro Tennis 2013
will take place at the National Tennis Centre (CNT) in Esch/Alzetten and is hosted in collaboration between Special Olympics, “Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Tennis (FLT)” and TC Esch Club.
