Tournament host United Arab Emirates had several players on the court.

At the recent regional volleyball tournament in the United Arab Emirates, the organizing committee held a training course aimed at enhancing the skills of coaches and officials in order to prepare them for participating in upcoming competitions. The course was held under the supervision of SOMENA Games and Competitions Director, Sherif El Fouly who lectured the trainees on the most recent amendments of SO Unified Volleyball rules. In a statement he made in relation to the training course, El Fouly highlighted the terms of the cup as mandatory to all, explaining the championship regulations to be followed by all partaking teams. The fruitfulness of the course was clearly reflected in the active interaction by all trainees proving the significant importance of training as an effective means of fulfilling one of the Special Olympics’ objectives concerning the continuous enhancement of all participants.
