Cisco Full Circle Day — Special Olympics Unified Sports Activity

By Lafael Liu

April 17th is Cisco's traditional "Full Circle Day" around the globe, time of the year to remind employees to give back to the communities. On that day, volunteers from Cisco Virtual Sales department came to Bei Xinjing Community Sunshine Home in Shanghai to have unified sports with Special Olympics athletes there. The group of around 30 people played table tennis, badminton and bocce together in the afternoon. Except for the volunteers from Cisco, there is a special guest also showed up at the activity that afternoon, her name is Zhou Yi. Zhou Yi used to stay with this Sunshine Home and now she is a full time employee as an office assistant in charge of cleaning. Zhou Yi likes her job and tries very hard to live on her own instead of relying on parents, although, she still misses the days spent in Sunshine Home a lot, and comes here to talk with friends from time to time.
