My Dream in Special Olympics

By Bradley Rice

My name is Bradley Rice and I am 33 years old. I was born with Down syndrome, my dream in Special Olympics to compete in 2014 National Summer Games in New Jersey & California and I'm sure the coaches are training me to be the best athlete. I started in Special Olympics program in Florida and I love living in Guilford County Greensboro. I made a lot of new friends and I like my coaches they trained me as an athlete but I like would say being an athlete so much for me and I am proud to be Special Olympics of North Carolina Global Messenger. Greensboro is my home where everybody knows me and I love it here.

About Bradley Rice: I like to exercise a lot and sometime I hang out with friends. I like to spend time alone and I have a job at Easter Seals UCP in Greensboro. I love TV movies but I'm more into old television shows about Down syndrome because I'm always strongly self-advocate for young adults with disabilities also young adults with Down syndrome. I never give up on anything but I keep going what I do best.
