Special Olympics Kenya (SOK) focuses on developing their Young Athletes Program

By Mr John Makathimo

Special Olympics Kenya hosted a number of Young Athletes Program events to help strengthen their programs in the following regions, Nakuru, Bungoma and Nairobi. Prominent guest speakers attended, tackled health issues, offered resources and funding, and helped family members to see the potential in their children. The events saw the recruitment of a great number of new Young Athletes, family members and coaches. The main objective of the program is to get more schools to be inclusive. Great work SO Kenya.

About Mr John Makathimo: I am a national director for Special Olympics Kenya program
