the dream that came true

By Eugene Womack

When I was young I wanted to be a bowler but I didn't know how to so I went to a local bowling alley to see if I could learn without someone teaching me. I started to try, I messed up a few times but I didn't need help so I got up and looked around at other people and learned from that and then I saw people curving the bowling ball. I learned how to do that. I thought I messed up one time but I heard people cheering me on and then I knew I did something right. I had a dream that I would travel and compete with other bowlers. I have been with Special Olympics for 4 or 5 years and I want to say thanks to Special Olympics for helping me keep my dream true.
