He went on to say that Special Olympics enables athletes with an intellectual disability to participate in local, national and international games; this has greatly impacted the athletes lives for the better. Family member, Mr. Mhango, spoke on behalf of the family members, congratulating Special Olympics Malawi for the good service rendered to the athletes. He also urged fellow family members to continue sending the athletes for training. An athlete thanked Special Olympics Malawi on behalf of the other athletes for offering them sports opportunities and the opportunity to participate in local, national and international games.
