Sarah Conlan Writes NZ Special Olympics Anthem.

New Zealand Singer Songwriter Sarah Conlan was honoured to win a Nation wide songwriting competition - her song Soaring High was chosen as the 2013 New Zealand Special Olympics National Summer Games Anthem. She performed at the Opening and Closing ceremonies to a 3000 strong audience of athletes, volunteers, supporters and dignitaries. Sarah had an amazing time supporting the athletes during the games and was lucky enough to meet some of the athletes. "I was just blown away by their enthusiasm - each athlete had set goals for the games and many of them achieved them. I am so proud to be involved in the Special Olympics Organisation"

About Sarah Conlan: Sarah comes from small town New Zealand - Twizel. She lives with her husband and 3 young songs. Recently she has been nominated for a NZ Country Music award and loves songwriting.
