Beach Soccer Team Sports Clinic Held With Special Olympics Athletes

On Wednesday 12 pm on the premises of the National Football Stadium, Playa members of the national soccer team and its beach soccer coaching staff enjoyed a special afternoon. It was launched 3:30 pm with a speech by Technical Director Rudis Gallo who looked pleased to be part of the movement and called for the addition of more events. Also announced was the First Central American Cup Playa Football will wear the armband of captain with the Special Olympics El Salvador logo to help promote the message of equality and acceptance for persons with Intellectual Disability. In opening ceremony of the First Central American Playa Cup, visiting countries, like Costa Rica, Panama and Guatemala also wore the Special Olympics El Salvador captain's armband. Our athletes were part of the ensemble to enter the stadium with the players to sing the national anthem before each game.
