Cargill employees and the athletes from Special Olympics Venezuela met on August 20 to participate in a boot camp and football matches, both "unified". Unified Sports brings people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. Cargill employees shared with athletes from Special Olympics Venezuela, learning about people with intellectual disabilities and their skills; it was a fantastic sports day. All participants improved their fitness and capacity encouraging one another in all activities of the circuit.

Cargill has supported the development of Special Olympics Venezuela for eight years. The support extends to employees that demonstrate the commitment by participating in activities like this unified experience. "The most touching part was to see how all participated, highlighting the potential of our athletes," noted Reinaldo Espinoza, Special Olympics Venezuela’s Sports Director.
