Special Olympics Flag Presented to Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern with 32 Emirati Special Olympics athletes.
The official Special Olympics flag has been passed to the organizing committee of the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games. The ceremony marks the end of one World Games and the exciting start of the next one.### The 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games will be in March 2019 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The official handover to the 2019 Games Committee occurred on 25 May. Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern presented the Special Olympics flag to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan during a ceremony held at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). Afterwards, Sheikh Mohamed recognized 32 Special Olympics athletes who had represented the United Arab Emirates at the Special Olympics World Winter games in Austria this past March.### At the same event, two signing ceremonies marked the start of sponsorships of the Games. ADNOC and Eithad Airways are now the first major sponsors of the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games.
