Over 2,900 Disciplinary Officials Run for 2017 Hong Kong Law Enforcement Torch Run

30th April - A Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics was successfully held at Sha Tin Sports Ground. 

Over 2,900 participants from local disciplinary departments, special schools, social groups and the public ran for ID athletes and raised nearly HK$2 million. The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is organized by Special Olympics Hong Kong (SOHK) with the support from 7 local disciplinary departments (Correctional Services Department, Customs and Excise Department, Fire Services Department, Government Flying Service, Hong Kong Police Force, Immigration Department and Independent Commission Against Corruption) and co-organized by Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Hong Kong Sports Association for persons with intellectual disabilities.
