Don't miss the Country Music Television (CMT)'s Most Wanted Live: Acoustic Christmas Special, which features several artists from A Very Special Acoustic Christmas CD, along with Special Olympics Chairman and CEO Timothy Shriver.
Celebrate acoustic-style when several guests, including the legendary Earl Scruggs, stop by to perform and visit with Cledus and Katie. Scheduled guests include Pat Green, Rhonda Vincent, Marty Stuart and Tift Merritt, all of whom appear on A Very Special Acoustic Christmas, which was released on 21 October 2003.
Initially airing on 6 December, CMT's Most Wanted Live: Acoustic Christmas Special will be featured repeatedly throughout the month of December. According to CMT.com, "Due to contractual obligations, we are unable to provide our programming on videotape. But please feel free to set your VCR!"

CMT Most Wanted Live, hosted by Cledus T. Judd and Katie Cook, is telecast each Saturday and includes the latest country music news and information, artist appearances and performances, video debuts and world premieres, and input from the studio audience and viewers via CMT's Web site.
The weekly series originates from downtown Nashville at the Wildhorse Saloon on historic Second Avenue, with an audience capacity of 2,000. Viewers have more access to the biggest stars in country music with on-set guests, live performances, the latest country news and the popular countdown of the "Great Eight," the week's top viewer requested videos which are shown in their entirety. CMT Most Wanted Live is where viewers can see the latest world premiere videos and special interactive segments with Cledus, Katie, and the stars.
A Very Special Acoustic Christmas, was released on 21 October 2003 and can be purchased online at the CMT.com Shop, through Amazon.com or at stores selling music nationwide. The renditions of "Please Come Home for Christmas" by Willie Nelson and "Winter Wonderland" by Pat Green can be sampled by visitors to the A Very Special Christmas Web site.
The sixth offering of this popular series is being released on Lost Highway Records, the Grammy-award winning label that released the multi-platinum soundtrack to O Brother Where Art Thou? and features the following performers, including many lengendary country and bluegrass artists, singing both established holiday classics and new songs:

For the last eight years, the revenue from the holiday music collection has been the largest donor to the Special Olympics movement through the Special Olympics Christmas Record Grant Program, which disburses album proceeds as grants for worthwhile and innovative training initiatives that encourage growth, enhance services, or provide creative new ways to advance the Special Olympics movement around the world.
