Special Olympics offers training and competition opportunities in 30 Olympic-type sports for athletes 8 years or older. For children with intellectual disabilities ages 2 through 7, Special Olympics provides a Young Athletes Program. Special Olympics coaches have a unique opportunity to work with athletes in competitive situations to assist in their training for life. As a grass-roots organization, Special Olympics relies on volunteers at all levels of the movement to ensure that every athlete is offered a quality sports training and competition experience. Individual donors, corporate partners and many others make it possible for Special Olympics to offer children and adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy through participation in the program.

A Special Olympics Middle East/North Africa Region aquatics coach celebrates with his athlete. Matching gifts help make it possible for Special Olympics to offer children and adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to experience joy through participation in the Movement.

You can double or triple your tax-deductible support of Special Olympics athletes through your company's matching gift program. Thousands of companies match charitable contributions made by their employees. Find out if your company will match your donation to Special Olympics with our custom search engine.

You may also visit your personnel office to ask if they match charitable donations, obtain a matching gift form, fill it out completely and mail it along with your contribution to:

Special Olympics
Attn: Donor Development

Washington, DC 20036
USA

Your gift and your company's matching contribution will give Special Olympics athletes the chance to improve their physical fitness and motor skills, gain self-confidence and build friendships through year-round training and athletic competition.

The matching gift process is easy, but the impact to the athletes is significant.
