Special Olympics Nigeria athlete Solomon Jegede went to the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles this past summer. Since then, he said, “I feel like a star."
My story starts in the year 2002, the year my parents found out I had a severe mental disability. I always found sports difficult until I discovered the sport of netball. I was able to play this sport well and enjoyed it a lot.
