American Physical Therapy Association Honors Vicki Tilley With Lucy Blair Service Award

In recognition for her exceptional contributions, the American Physical Therapy Association named Vicki Tilley, PT, GCS, as a Lucy Blair Service Award recipient during its 2013 conference in Utah. Tilley cofounded the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes FUNfitness discipline and currently serves as its global clinical advisor with Donna Bainbridge, PT, EdD, ATC, and James Gleason, MS, PT. FUNfitness is a component of the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes program, which is the largest provider of free health examinations in the world. Tilley has worked with Special Olympics International since 2001 as a consultant for the development, implementation and monitoring of the FUNfitness program nationally and internationally. Tilley has participated in all of the Special Olympics World Summer and Winter Games since 1999, including the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in the Republic of Korea.
