Commencement of 2014 Basketball Clinic

By Paola Martinelli

Pablo Alberto Esper Di Cesare gave a basketball clinic to the program in Guanajuato, Mexico. The clinic included the following: shooting, training of taller athletes, developing agility, overall attack strategy, fitness training, asymmetry and exercises, individual defense and stretching. Each module was full of examples for athletes from 16 to 17 years old. Applying the methodology shown is very motivating because it keeps the athlete in the competition. This is something Special Olympics athletes love. This 2014 the goal is to increase the number of Unified Sports teams to integrate society and our athletes.
