David Palomeque, the City of Rosario, Argentina, Athlete of the Year

David Palomeque has been honored by the government as the Athlete of the Year in the City of Rosario - Santa Fe Province, Argentina. David is an experienced athletes who participated in two Special Olympics World Games, the latter being the Special Olympics World Winter Games - PyeongChang 2013 as a member of the Argentine floor hockey team . In  the selection process the first place results in a winner in "special athletes" category. The second place was chosen from a shortlist of 33 participants both conventional and special of all sports from he was chosen as the golden athlete of the city. It is noteworthy that while David is now the leading figure, his whole family is one way or another part of Special Olympics in the city of Rosario and its zone of influence through the Family Network, Unified Sports, among others.
