By the time I went to my first state games I had played two seasons of soccer. When my team had won our gold medals, I felt that I could do anything. Then I started golf. I got the movement back into my hips because of plates and screws. I was really proud of myself because I could do things other people couldn't do. With Special Olympics Colorado I got the freedom and confidence to move.
