Sixteen branch offices of GrayBar Electric Company's Richmond District raised funds for Special Olympics over several weeks this spring. Employee representatives at the Tomlynn Street location presented a proceeds check representing more than $13,000 raised for Special Olympics programs in Virginia. Each branch participated in a range of creative activities from jeans days to lucky coin drops and even dunking tanks in order to reach their fundraising goal. Headquartered in St. Louis, GraybaR encourages its districts to do charitable fundraising activities twice annually each spring and fall. Special Olympics Virginia is honored to have been selected as their spring charity and hopes to engage employees and families in its upcoming Summer Games celebrations in Richmond on June 6 & 7!
