International School Federation for Sports welcomes Special Olympics Hellas athletes

Special Olympics Hellas and ISF Sports representatives come together in Athens.

The "Education through Sports" meeting of the International School Federation for Sports (ISF Sports) was held in Athens, Marathon and Ancient Olympia, from the 31 March-4 April 2014. High School students from all over the world participated in several activities organized by the Greek Ministry of Education and the Municipality of Athens. For the first time, Special Olympics Hellas (Greece) athletes were officially invited by ISF Sports to participate. ISF Sports President Andrea Delpin in his speech at the Athens City Hall, on the occasion of the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Municipality of Athens, assured Special Olympics Hellas President Joanna Despotopoulou, that no matter where in the world an ISF sports event takes place, Special Olympics athletes will always be part of it.
