Aaron Merchen, Grants Coordinator:
Aaron helps manage the internal grant process, from pre-award preparation
through implementation and close-out. In addition he is responsible for
tracking and managing approved awards for the Healthy Athletes department.
Kathleen Palermo, former grants coordinator, is now the Department Administrator

Katelyn Lowery, Manager, Healthy
Hearing and Fit Feet: Katelyn supports the implementation of Fit Feet and
Healthy Hearing events worldwide and leads the growth of these programs in new
areas such as coach and family health education, as well as overseeing the
hearing aid delivery program in partnership with Phonak and Hear the World

Lynn Aylward, Senior Manager, Global Health External Relations: Lynn manages the external awareness strategy and public relations opportunities for Special Olympics’ global health efforts. In this newly-created position, Lynn is instrumental in helping raise awareness of our footprint and impact in health as well as global development and government relations. Contact Lynn Aylward.
Lynn Erickson, Manager, Health Communications: Lynn oversees internal communications for Special Olympics’ global health efforts. She serves as the primary content-generator of health-related content for communication products.
