My Life with Special Olympics

By elan geffen

I started Special Olympics at 8 years old in New Jersey. I did track, bowling and other sports. When I was in New Jersey, I made lots of friends that are special like all of us. In 2009 I moved to Florida to be with my family. I joined Special Olympics Palm Beach County. When I first joined I was only an athlete of Palm Beach County Special Olympics. Now I have been an athlete leader for one year, and now I am a head bowling coach for the Extreme Team Boca. I am also a softball athlete and basketball athlete.
