33 Japanese athletes from Hiroshima, Tokushima and Kumamoto participated in the Special Olympics Nippon Hiroshima Cycling Competition 2014 last weekend. The event featured road races from 5 to 25km, and 400m and 800m track races in the Hiroshima Velodrome. Professional Keirin racers (a form of road-bike racing) also provided a cycling demo for the athletes.
Now in its fifth year, the competition is supported by the Hiroshima Cycling Federation.
