Maria Rocio Santillana On Course To The 2013 Pan American Tennis Tournament

Maria was born in the city of San Luis Potosi by normal delivery, a few hours later she had surgery for a birth defect in the duodenal intestine. She soon recovered and a month and a half of life began with early stimulation therapy. At two and a half years she took her first steps. She is the youngest in our family has 2 sisters Mariza and Juliet who have always supported us all. She started practicing swimming at the age of 23, and 3 times a week visited the INPODE pools in Tangamanga but never competed. She began Bolerama bowling practice at 12 years till now and combines theses activities. Rocío play Tennis and is very happy and excited to travel to Bolivia. She says she will train with great interest and dedication in other to get good results and bring the crown that she has been asked to win.
