Special Olympics Ambassador receives Emmy Award

Alejandro Navarro, Telemundo journalist and Special Olympics El Salvador Ambassador, was recently awarded an Emmy by the Academy of Film and Television in Los Angeles. He joined Special Olympics El Salvador this year as an Ambassador and has participated in many Unified Sports activities. The Special Olympics El Salvador family is extremely proud of Alejandro Navarro for his great accomplishment. Alejandro was a national track and field champion in the 100, 200 and 400 meter run; a Central American track and field champion in the 4x100 and 4x400 relay; and a Caribbean track and field champion in the 400 meter hurdles.
