Special Olympics Athletes Experience a Taste of World Cup Football In Mexico City

By Paola Martinelli

Special Olympics athletes bonded together and experienced inclusion during a “World Cup Football” event organized by Special Olympics Mexico in Mexico City. Players were divided on to teams by skill level. Each team chose a name of a country to represent their team in tournament. This tournament gave athletes the opportunity to bond with each other and experience being part of a part of team.
