Special Olympics National Soccer Tournament Opened on Friday 30 August in Caracas

(From Archives) Mirandinos Special Olympics Venezuela Senior Athletes in Training 

Caracas, August 30, 2013. - This Friday August 30 the Special Olympics National Football Tournament opened at Sport Park Directv. This tournament is the 1st Stage of the Special Olympics Venezuela National Games. The members of the football teams will form a delegation that will represent us in the SO Latin American Games in Monterrey 2014, and the World Summer Games in Los Angeles 2015. In this national football event, we had the participation of 18 teams from 12 SO Venezuela subprograms. In November, Guayana City received 550 athletes from 14 states to celebrate the 2nd stage of the SO Venezuela National Games. During the first quarter of next year in Puerto La Cruz, SO Venezuela National Games will be completed and the members of the delegations that will represent us in the international Special Olympics Games mentioned above will be announced.
