Special Olympics Serbia Unified athletes and partners show their support for flood victims

Special Olympics Serbia had to cancel all of its activities, including Football Week and National Games in Nis, due to the recent flooding. To show their support for athletes, friends and families affected by the floods, Special Olympics Serbia Unified football and basketball teams gathered in Nis on 22 May 2014, making a simple but powerful show of solidarity for the flood victims. The floods, the worst in 120 years swept through Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia in early May.
