The quarter-finals of the First National Special Olympics Unified Football Tournament were full of surprises

By Carlos Lazo

All teams that made it to the quarter-finals (Azuay, Imbabura, Guayas, Pichincha, Manabi, Santo Domingo, Esmeraldas and Napo) could barely sleep the night of July 3, as all were eager and excited to show all their skills on the field and be the shiny CHAMPIONS. The keys were played simultaneously in the Repository located in Pusuqui and LDUQ Complex in Pomasqui. Thus being the two semifinals to be contested in the House tomorrow Selection July 4, 2013 in the synthetic field: 1) 9:00 am Santo Domingo vs. Napo. 2) 11:00 am Esmeraldas vs.. Manabi. On July 4 in the Vulqano Park from 3:00 pm all the athletes shared a pleasant recreation time with the teachers and staff of OE Ecuador after much competition.
