What We Learned at the Youth Summit: How to Unify People

By Ricardo Metlhe, Rose Tsei-tseimou, Tsholofelo Gabe

It is important to learn how to unify people who are different from each other because they do not always get along or have the chance to meet each other. Struggling to understand each other’s languages can divide us. Learning sign language in school helps us to communicate with all learners. Another way to unify people is through sports, where we can learn about everyone’s strengths and weaknesses. Creating a club that discusses different religions and cultures can help to tolerate other people. By visiting other countries, we learn how to live with other people and to stop discriminating. By becoming unified, we can change people’s perspectives toward history. So get up, South Africa, and get united!
