Support Special Olympics Texas and the Change for the Children Foundation with the iWin Joe Jonas Fun Run

Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers will lead a 5K run to raise money for Special Olympics on August 13
SAN ANTONIO – Move to the music and support Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) and the Jonas Brothers’ Change for the Children Foundation! Joe Jonas of the Grammy-nominated and Hollywood Records platinum-selling artists, Jonas Brothers, will lead the run at the iWin Joe Jonas Fun Run on August 13 at the historic Sunset Station in San Antonio.

Joe Jonas has joined with SOTX to launch a unique family event that will take place the morning of the sold-out Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 concert date in San Antonio on August 13 at AT&T Center. This one-of-a-kind event is not to be missed and is the only charity run which Joe is scheduled to participate in during the North American leg of their world tour!

The event begins at 8:15 a.m. and runners can register up until the run begins. Entry fees are $20 per person or $35 for a family entry (child and parent). Top fundraisers will win an award presented by Joe Jonas himself. And, SOTX athletes can enter a contest to win free tickets to the concert that evening! Grab your friends and family and sign up for a morning of fun and excitement! To register and begin fundraising go to www.tinyurl.com/iWinRun.

Fifteen lucky participants will be randomly selected to run with Joe at the front of the race. When participants pick up their packet, they will find out if they’ve been selected. The fifteen winners will also be part of a special meet & greet where they can have their photo taken with Joe. All participants will receive an iWin Joe Jonas Fun Run finisher medal made exclusively for this event. Pop rock music rising stars and Jonas Brothers tour mates, Honor Society (www.myspace.com/honorsociety), will perform live for participants that morning. Honor Society, a pop rock band with a dose of R&B and urban music influences, has set the foundations for a break out year in 2009. Since the Spring, Honor Society has been named a breakout band to watch by Rolling Stone, identified as a Buzzworthy artist by MTV and earned an opening spot on one of the biggest tours of the summer as they joined the Jonas Brothers and Jordin Sparks on the North American leg of the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009.
