2014 Special Olympics Latin America Annual Regional Leadership Meeting

Special Olympics Latin America will host the 2014 Annual Regional Leadership Meeting in Panama City, Panama from September 1st – through 3. The annual meeting is an opportunity to provide Special Olympics Leaders and athletes from Latin America countries the skills and knowledge to strengthen their Special Olympics Programs and activities in their respective countries. The meeting will also play an important role in the development of the Movement’s new strategic plan. Approximately 70 Special Olympics leaders and athletes of the region are expected to attend the Annual Leadership Meeting.

2014 Central Michigan University Homecoming 5K Run/Walk

The Central Michigan University(CMU) Homecoming 5K is a Homecoming tradition of more than 20 years! The CMU 5K Run/Walk starts Homecoming morning off right with a course that begins at historic Finch Fieldhouse. Registration is from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m, with the race starting at 8am. Special Olympics Bangladesh’s National Games will welcome an estimated 800 athletes and 100 Unified Sports® partners across Bangladesh. Ten sports will be played: athletics, badminton, basketball, bocce, cricket, football, handball, swimming, table tennis and volleyball. The three day event will be held across different venues: Bangabandhu National Stadium, Army Stadium, National Indoor Stadium & Swimming pool and the Bangladesh Sports Education Institute (BKSP).
