Subaru knows their owners care. That’s why we were pleased that Special Olympics was one of five charities involved in the fourth annual “Share the Love” event from November 19, 2011 – January 3, 2012. In late 2008, Subaru of America, Inc. launched Subaru’s “Share the Love” campaign, a holiday sales event focused on giving back. For every vehicle sold or leased Subaru donated $250 to the consumer's choice of five major charities.
Subaru dealers and Special Olympics came together across the United States during the “Share the Love” event giving Subaru employees and the community an opportunity to share in the achievements of Special Olympics athletes. As just one example, Subaru of Richmond heard Global Messenger Will Daniel talk about his accomplishments during the “share the Love” event and as a result employees from this dealership will be volunteering at Special Olympics Virginia’s Summer Games in Richmond.
