SOEE receive €115,000 contribution from, the European wide online lottery and gaming internet company and Official Lottery Partner of Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia has today presented Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia with a cheque for the sum of €115,000.

The presentation was made to Kai Troll, Director of Organisational Development and Marketing, Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia, during the SOEE Sports Conference in Malta in the presence of the Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia Sports Department and the National Sport Managers and Directors. was announced as the Official Lottery Partner of Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia in May 2011.  This partnership with, currently available in 23 European languages, allows them to reach an audience of millions in 58 countries throughout Europe and Eurasia.  It also serves to confirm and underline the company’s emphasis and commitment to social investment and ongoing market expansion throughout the region.

With daily draws and a progressive jackpot with a minimum of 25 million euro is Europe's largest daily lottery.  The lotto draw is licensed by the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) and the daily draw is physically monitored by the LGA in Malta.  Besides the Eurolotto lottery, various scratch cards are available with a largest possible jackpot of 5 million euro.  The agreement is signed between Cherry’s wholly owned subsidary; Euroslots Ltd and Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia.

Many of the Special Olympics national programs are benefitting not only through the PR and awareness campaigns but also by receiving a portion of the lottery profits in the respective countries.
