Special Olympics Australia are cheering on 16 supporters who this week are being brave and challenging themselves to reach the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. They are on a MISSION to raise funds and awareness so that Australia can deliver more sports programs to young children across the country. Mark Streeting, Chair and fellow board member Kim Bryan from Special Olympics Australia have set out with 14 other inspiring supporters to conquer the climb and generate lots of donations and support. The Mountain Challenge team visited Special Olympics Tanzania last Friday 1st March 2013 to share some donated sports gear, mascots and gifts with local young athletes. Mark said, "I feel even more motivated now to conquer the mountain after feeling the pure joy of the young athletes. Special Olympics transforms lives and today I witnessed again how it transforms communities."
