The activity is part of the project supported by a grant through the Swiss contribution to the enlarged European Union. The project’s aim is to enhance know-how from Swiss specialists to Romanian specialists working in universities, special schools, institutions and nongovernmental organizations regarding Adapted Physical Activities as instruments of social inclusion. As part of the project, five Specialized Resource Centers will be created in five universities throughout Romania. Representatives from Special Olympics Romania, Special Olympics Switzerland, the University of Lausanne and the partner institutions particiated in theoretical and practical sessions as well as visits to institutions, centers, and foundations that have educational, sports and social activities for persons with disabilities.
