Unified Basketball Breaks Down Barriers in Vegas

Getting to know your team, running drills to improve your fundamentals, scrimmaging against your teammates, practicing every week, and finally showing off these skills in an official game. This process is quite familiar to any member of a varsity sports team, and most recently to many special education students in Clark County. Since January, students at Clark County middle and high schools – those receiving special education services and the general education students alike – have been playing basketball together through the Schools Partnership Program.
