Antwerp, Belgium played host to an exciting Play Unified workshop this fall with the lead of Special Olympics Belgium and their agency partner LDV United. Special Olympics Belgium’s award-winning campaign was the topic of discussion at the two-day workshop which allowed participating programmes to get a glimpse of what it takes to plan and execute such a successful campaign. 12 programmes from all over the Europe Eurasia region joined Special Olympics Belgium in discussing not only the success of the campaign but also ways it can be implemented in their own countries. The workshop was hosted exactly a year after the kick-off of the campaign and the results that were shared were phenomenal! Special Olympics Belgium CEO Zehra Sayin commented: “We’ve been very successful with our campaign because we played on our positioning, we have good measurable results and as a result, we have more sponsors and donators. In Belgium, we managed to create great awareness, thanks to Play Unified.”
