Special Olympics Chairman Tim Shriver and Maryland athlete Terrel Limerick shared some big news: Special Olympics has exceeded our goal of bringing together more than 1 million athletes with and without intellectual disabilities through Unified Sports. There are now more than 1.2 million Unified teammates -- playing together and learning from each other -- all around the world.
