<video:title>Inclusive Career Placement for People with Intellectual Disabilities | Michelle Chimuka | TEDxLusaka</video:title>
 <video:description>In this talk, Michelle Chimuka inspires the audience by sharing about the work of the Sani Foundation, who created a career development and placement system to help people with intellectual disabilities gain independence and fulfillment in the workplace. Michelle Chimuka is a vibrant Zambian woman passionate about addressing the issues people with disabilities face from a business and empowerment point of view rather than from a charity perspective. Michelle has spoken about her progressive work at large platforms such as the Association for the Development of Education in Africa. Michelle is a current Laureate Global Fellow under the Youth Action Network (YAN) run by the International Youth Foundation. Although Michelle is a chartered accountant with over nine years’ experience, she manages the Sani Foundation, which works with people with intellectual disabilities. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. </video:description>

 <video:description>Persons with disabilities are more likely than others to experience adverse socioeconomic, such as less education, poorer health, fewer employment opportunities, and higher poverty rates. To end poverty and boost shared prosperity, we must leave no one behind. At the World Bank, we’re working to build inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities for all by breaking down barriers to full social and economic inclusion of persons with disabilities. </video:description>

 <video:description>During Spread the Word month, we strive to make strong communities of inclusion. What does a community of inclusion look like? Look no further than Lawrence High School in Lawrence, Kansas.

Led by Katherine Stineman, a former Special Olympics U.S. Youth Ambassador and Lawrence High School alum, our latest episode of Inside Inclusion looks at what makes a community inclusive. Katherine is joined by four Lawrence High School seniors to find out how inclusion spreads in the classroom, on the court, and into the lives of students and teachers.

</video:description>

 <video:title>How to Help Your Child if They Are Feeling Bullied</video:title>
 <video:description>As a parent, it can be difficult to see your child upset or hurt because of bullying. If your child is feeling bullied, there are steps you can take to help them feel supported and empowered.

First, it's important to listen to your child and take their feelings seriously. Let them know that they are not alone and that you are there to support them. Encourage them to talk about what happened and how it made them feel.

Next, work with your child to develop a plan for how to handle the situation. This might involve talking to a teacher or counselor at school, practicing assertiveness skills, or finding ways to avoid the bully.

It's also important to help your child build resilience and self-confidence. Encourage them to participate in activities they enjoy and to spend time with friends who are supportive and positive. Remind them of their strengths and talents and let them know that they are valued and loved.

Finally, be proactive about preventing future incidents of bullying.

Talk to your child's school about their bullying prevention policies and make sure they are being followed. Teach your child about empathy and kindness and model those behaviors in your own interactions with others. I hope these steps will help you in supporting your child if they are feeling bullied.

https://www.nicklauschildrens.org/blog</video:description>
