Gold, Silver, and Bronze for Teen Li Xiang from China

China athlete Li Xiang is awarded a gold medal for gymnastics

At 15 years old, Li Xiang is competing in his third World Games—in a big way. This time, he’s taken on more gymnastics events than ever: the rings, vault, parallel bars, horizontal bar, pommel horse, plus all-around and floor exercises.

This week he won 2 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 1 bronze. He's also made a big name for himself in China, which sent TV camera crews to the Abu Dhabi arena to cover the action. As the ultimate honor, China's legendary Olympic gymnast Li Xiaopeng was on hand to bestow the medals.

See a slideshow of Li Xiang on his first big day of competition below and stay tuned for more updates as results come in! #Cheers4Champions
